Manufacturer Certifications & Authorized Dealer Credentials

Roof Technologies manufacturer certifications and authorized dealer credentials

Manufacturer certifications are how you tell a well-organized contractor apart from one who is just buying product off the shelf. Certified contractors go through documented training, carry the right insurance limits, and — most importantly — can register the system warranties that matter (not just the material-only warranty). The list below is what Roof Technologies is authorized and credentialed for. We’re honest about the tier: a few manufacturers we hold top-tier credentials with, most we hold the standard authorized tier, and we say which is which so you can compare us against other contractors on equal ground.

Asphalt Shingle Manufacturer Certifications

  • IKO RoofPro Select — IKO’s credentialed installer tier within their ROOFPRO program, covering the Nordic, Cambridge, Dynasty, and ArmourShake architectural shingle lines. IKO Nordic is our flagship residential Class 4 lead. Select status unlocks IKO’s enhanced system warranty coverage and direct manufacturer support on complex installs.
  • Owens Corning Preferred Contractor — Owens Corning’s credentialed installer program for Duration, TruDefinition, and Oakridge lines, qualifying for the OC System Protection Limited Warranty.
  • CertainTeed Authorized Installer — authorized on CertainTeed asphalt shingle systems.
  • Tamko Authorized Contractor — authorized on Tamko Heritage and Titan XT lines.
  • Malarkey Authorized Contractor — authorized on Malarkey’s SBS-modified (polymer-rubberized) impact-resistant shingles, a strong fit for Colorado hail zones.

Specialty & Premium Roofing

  • DaVinci Roofscapes Authorized Installer — credentialed on DaVinci polymer slate and shake tiles.
  • Brava Roof Tile Authorized Installer — authorized on Brava composite slate, shake, and barrel tile.
  • F-Wave Authorized Installer — credentialed on F-Wave Revia synthetic composite shingle systems.
  • Westlake Royal Authorized Installer — authorized on Westlake Royal concrete tile and Designer Metals stone-coated steel.
  • Bartile Authorized Dealer — clay tile installer credential.
  • Decra Authorized Installer — Decra stone-coated steel roofing credential.

Solar & Energy

  • Tesla Solar Roof Certified Installer — one of a limited number of contractors approved to install the Tesla Solar Roof (integrated tempered-glass solar tile system), Powerwall battery storage, and Tesla Wall Connector EV charging.
  • NABCEP-Credentialed Staff — North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners, the gold-standard credential for solar photovoltaic installation professionals.

Siding & Exteriors

  • James Hardie Authorized Contractor — authorized installer for James Hardie fiber cement siding and trim, qualifying for the Hardie ColorPlus finish warranty.
  • Alside Authorized Contractor — credentialed on Alside Prodigy, Charter Oak, Conquest, and Essex vinyl siding lines.
  • ProVia Authorized Dealer — ProVia’s premium polymer siding, entry doors, windows, and stone veneer are sold exclusively through dealer-network contractors; we’re one of them.

Windows

We carry window-manufacturer credentials with multiple brands through direct relationships and through our national distributor partners (ABC Supply and Lansing Building Products). Rather than listing those here, we cover the full brand lineup, installation approach, and dealer credentials on our Windows page.

Decking & Outdoor Living

  • Trex Authorized Builder — credentialed on Trex composite decking, qualifying for Trex’s labor warranty.
  • TimberTech Authorized Contractor — credentialed installer on TimberTech composite and capped polymer decking.
  • Azek Authorized Contractor — authorized on Azek (PVC decking) systems.

Accreditations & Industry Memberships

  • Better Business Bureau Accredited Business — in good standing with the BBB serving Colorado. Review our profile and file complaints (or check for any) directly through the BBB.
  • National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) — industry-association membership with ongoing code and technical training resources.
  • Roof Coatings Manufacturers Association (RCMA) — member organization for commercial coating and restoration roofing.
  • Chambers of Commerce — active chamber members across our footprint, including the Wheat Ridge, Arvada, Denver Metro, Kansas City (Kansas and Missouri sides), and Topeka chambers. We add new chamber memberships as our Missouri, Nebraska, and Wyoming coverage grows.

Community Involvement

Roof Technologies supports the communities we serve. Our community work includes roof donations for veteran and first-responder families, Habitat for Humanity build-day crew volunteering, and sponsorships of local youth sports and community events across Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Wyoming. If you’re a 501(c)(3) or veteran-service organization working on a specific project, reach out — we review donation and sponsorship requests quarterly.

Licensing, Insurance & Bonding

Looking for license numbers, certificate of insurance, workers’ comp EMR, or bond information for an HOA, multi-family, commercial, or insurance-claim file? Those are on our dedicated Licensing & Insurance page, or available on request in written form.

Why Certifications Matter When You’re Hiring a Contractor

When you hire a credentialed contractor, three things happen that don’t happen otherwise:

  • Access to the system warranty tier the manufacturer offers. Non-authorized contractors can only register the base material warranty, which is usually a fraction of the system warranty.
  • Labor-inclusive coverage in most cases. The manufacturer stands behind the install itself, not just the product — if something goes wrong due to installation, the manufacturer has skin in the game.
  • Transferable warranty to the next owner under defined terms, which adds documented resale value. Non-registered warranties usually aren’t transferable.

If you’re comparing contractors, ask each one for the specific certification tier, the certification number or verification link, and the warranty package they can register you for. A certification is only useful if the contractor actually pulls the paperwork — we do, every time, and the paperwork lives in the closeout binder we hand you at project complete.

Ask Us for Verification

We’re happy to provide certification numbers, insurance certificates, license numbers, and warranty-registration documentation in writing before you sign anything. Any contractor who won’t provide these documents isn’t one you should hire.
